Our 30-Day Return Policy
We want you to love your rug. If it is not right for your space, you can return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund — and return shipping is on us.
We accept returns for both defective and non-defective items. You do not need a reason — if you have simply changed your mind, that is fine, as long as the rug is unused and in its original condition. Free return shipping applies to all eligible returns across India, the US, the UK, and the UAE.
What Can & Cannot Be Returned
Eligible for return: Ready-made and in-stock rugs returned within 30 days of delivery, unused, in their original condition and packaging, with any tags attached.
Not eligible (unless damaged or defective): Custom-made, made-to-order, and bespoke rugs are crafted specifically for you and cannot be resold, so they are final sale — except where they arrive damaged or defective, in which case we will replace or refund them in full.
Items that have been used, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery are not eligible for return. We may request photographs before approving a return, particularly for claims of damage or defect.
How to Start a Return
Step 1 — Email us at support@rugstore.in within 30 days of delivery with your order number and the reason for your return.
Step 2 — Our team reviews your request and emails you a prepaid return label along with simple instructions, usually within 2 business days.
Step 3 — Pack the rug securely in its original packaging and hand it to the courier or drop it at the nearest collection point.
Step 4 — Once we receive and inspect your rug, we process your refund to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. We will email you the moment it is done.
Refunds & Exchanges
Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of us receiving and approving your returned rug. Depending on your bank, it may take a few additional days to appear on your statement.
Prefer a different size, colour, or design? We are happy to arrange an exchange instead of a refund — just mention it when you contact us and we will guide you through the swap.
Received a damaged or wrong item? Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and we will arrange a free replacement or full refund right away — no need to return it first in most cases.
